“By February 2017, G & J exports have grown 10.3% vis a vis last year. To strengthen the industry, Government has taken steps like establishment of Special Notified Zone, ITC HS Code for lab-grown diamonds, Gold Monetisation Scheme; change in wastage & value addition norms, Common Facility Centres & financial assistance to participate in international fairs " Nirmala Sitharaman, MoS, Ministry of Commerce, in a written statement in Rajya Sabha.
