Kindly accept my compliments for a very informative cover story on pearls. In India there is a huge gap between production and demand of pearls. In recent times demand for pearls has increased but the production has gone down. To bridge this gap the only option left is culture of pearls. But more concerted efforts are required for developing pearl culture in the country.
